    Samantha Le is a Vietnamese American refugee with deep roots in South King County, serving as the President and CEO of the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce and the Executive Director of the Success Foundation. With a background as the daughter of entrepreneurial parents, Samantha brings firsthand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities businesses face and works to strengthen the connection between economic development and community well-being.

    Samantha is a proven leader in advancing equitable economic growth through innovative initiatives. She oversees programs that drive workforce development, such as the "Workforce Discovery Lab," which connects students with professional development and career exploration opportunities that lead to low-barrier, high-earning career paths. Her leadership also focuses on supporting entrepreneurs in non-traditional industries and fostering policies that create inclusive, sustainable business ecosystems.

    Samantha’s approach to business leadership emphasizes collaboration and strategic partnerships, enabling businesses and communities to thrive together. She believes in turning challenges into opportunities for growth and innovation. “The greatest economic resource any community has are the people that live and work there. When we come together with a shared purpose, there is no limit to what we can achieve,” she says.

    A dynamic advocate for the South King County business community, Samantha is committed to fostering vitality in the region by driving forward-thinking economic development strategies that empower businesses and build stronger communities.

  • Zak Nyberg

    Membership and Business Engagement Specialist

    Zak Nyberg joined the Chamber in March 2025 as a Membership and Business Outreach Specialist, after previously working in business development for the venture scale startup community. 

    For the last year, Zak worked at Venture Mechanics in Bellevue, WA helping connect local founders to mentorship and opportunities from the 100+ events they put on for early-stage startups. Prior to that he worked in the global relocation industry. Zak studied Business Administration and Communications from Green River College and the University of Washington, graduating in 2020. 

    Zak’s approach to business engagement focuses on the power of relationship building. As a native to West Seattle, he is excited to connect with Southside small business owners and support Seattle tourism growth. 

    On the side, Zak helps with events at Climate Pledge Arena. Along with a passion for scuba diving, traveling, basketball, and volunteering with the Flying Heritage Museum and the Alki Community Council.

    Adem Hayyu is an accomplished Events and Operations Specialist at the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce, where they lead the planning and execution of strategic events and initiatives that strengthen community engagement and support local businesses. With a robust background in event production, operations management, and community-driven programming, Hayyu leverages their expertise to drive impactful experiences that elevate the Chamber's mission.

    Previously, Hayyu served as an Events Manager at a performing arts venue and as a Technical Director at a local high school, acquiring hands-on experience in logistics, scheduling, and team coordination. As the founder of SkyLit Designs, LLC, Hayyu has produced large-scale community events, concerts, and cultural festivals across the Pacific Northwest, building a reputation for seamless execution and creative vision.

    In their role at the Chamber, Hayyu focuses on delivering high-impact events that promote economic growth and foster meaningful connections within the Southside community. Their commitment to operational excellence and community empowerment continues to drive innovative programming and strategic partnerships.

    Leyna Thach is a senior at Highline High School and the first Student Liaison for the 2024 Workforce Discovery Lab at the Success Foundation. She is an alumnus of the program, having completed the 2022 Workforce Discovery Lab. After the 2024 Workforce Discovery Lab, she joined the Chamber as a Marketing and Communications Specialist.

    Before heading off to college, she is dedicated to fostering a culture of belonging among Chamber members through a marketing perspective. Her focus is on enhancing member engagement, expanding business knowledge, and increasing event visibility within the Chamber.

    Liliia Khomych joins the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce as our new Administrative Support Specialist. A recent graduate of Shoreline Community College with a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communication Studies and a minor in Visual Arts, Liliia brings extensive experience in administrative operations and human resources support. Previously, she served as a Human Resources Intern at Thaddeus Resource Center, where she streamlined recruitment processes and supported priority initiatives. She also assisted students in the BFET Program at Shoreline Community College, providing individualized support and ensuring accurate program documentation.

     

    Fluent in Ukrainian and conversational in Polish, Liliia is passionate about fostering effective communication, maintaining organized systems, and delivering exceptional support to teams and community members.

     

  • Andrea Smith

    Andrea Smith is a dynamic People & Culture Business Partner currently with Salal Credit Union with over 10 years of HR experience and nearly five years in the credit union industry. She is also the Founder and Chief Growth & People Officer at Kulture & Hustle Consulting, specializing in HR, Coaching, and AI & HR compliance. Andrea holds multiple certifications, including those from Prosci, Cornell University, AAPM, and Google Cloud in areas such as Change Management, HR Project Management, and AI in Workforce Planning.

    Passionate about Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), talent management, and organizational strategy, Andrea has worked with global and technical organizations to develop AI talent acquisition strategies and enhance employee experiences. She is also deeply involved in HR transformation, spearheading initiatives like AI policy implementation, HR workflows, and engagement strategies.

    An accomplished speaker and thought leader, Andrea has presented at industry conferences such as ByteWise: Navigating the Digital Frontier with AI. She is actively expanding her expertise in AI Strategy & Governance while growing her impact in the HR consulting space, helping organizations navigate the evolving intersection of AI, workforce strategy, and compliance.

    Beyond HR, Andrea has a keen interest in calisthenics workouts, high-protein nutrition, and holistic wellness. She is dedicated to professional growth and continuously seeks opportunities to drive meaningful impact through innovation, leadership, and inclusive practices.

    Brea has helped leaders strengthen their organizations, build meaningful partnerships, and create sustainable growth. She believes in the power of empowering people, fostering collaboration, and developing strong leadership to drive change.

    In her role as Executive Consultant for the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce and Success Foundation, Brea will provide strategic guidance, executive coaching, and leadership support to help strengthen the Chamber’s impact. She is excited to bring her expertise to the team, helping to cultivate innovative strategies, meaningful connections, and lasting success for the businesses and leaders in the community.

    Jaiden Ford is a junior and one of the 2025 Workforce Discovery Lab Student Liaisons for the Success Foundation. She first joined the program in 2024 as a student participant and, after a positive experience, returned this year to serve in a leadership role and support the next cohort of students.

    As a Student Liaison, Jaiden ensures that student voices and perspectives are heard in decisions that impact the program. She serves as a bridge between students and staff—sharing ideas, feedback, and concerns to help enhance the overall experience.

    Jaiden is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where all students feel valued and heard. Outside of her role, she enjoys exploring new ideas and building connections with others.

    Through her work, Jaiden hopes to inspire her peers and give back to the program that helped shape who she is today.

    Tram-Anh Truong is a senior at Raisbeck Aviation High School and one of the 2025 Workforce Discovery Lab Student Liaisons for the Success Foundation. She first joined the program in 2023 as a participant and, after gaining valuable experience and connections, returned this year in a leadership role to support the next cohort of students.

    Outside of the Workforce Discovery Lab, Tram-Anh is actively involved in civic leadership and community engagement across South King County, serving as a Climate Equity Community Task Force Representative. She is passionate about uplifting underrepresented voices and creating inclusive spaces where disadvantaged students feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.

    Through this role, Tram-Anh hopes to give back to the Workforce Discovery Lab community and help others discover new opportunities—just as the program did for her.
