  • Annie McGrath

    Annie joined our Chamber in early August of 2022 and brings with her nearly 20 years of government affairs experience, as well as non-profit management. In the early 2000s, Annie worked as a Legislative Staffer in various capacities for the Washington State Legislature. Annie then spent a decade with a small lobbying firm, advocating on behalf of businesses, school districts, and nonprofit organizations at the state level.

    Most recently, Annie lead the Washington Brewers Guild, the nonprofit trade association representing Washington’s small and independent breweries, as its Executive Director. A resident of Normandy Park, Annie is invested in the continued growth and advancement of our local businesses and community. Annie is passionate about providing businesses with the resources and tools that make doing business easier and providing a voice for our business community at the local, state, and federal levels.

    Samantha Le
    Executive Vice President

    Sammie has served as Executive Vice President for the Seattle Southside Chamber since September 2021. Before joining the Chamber as Staff, Sammie was an active Chamber member and Ambassador and brings first-hand knowledge of the benefits of Chamber membership to her role. 

    Prior to her work at the Chamber, she was an Aerospace Manufacturing Director leading and developing Programs and Marketing initiatives. Sammie has deep roots in South King County. As a Vietnamese Refugee and a daughter of small business owners, she holds a strong passion for creating equitable solutions for entrepreneurs. A graduate of Trinity Lutheran College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and a focus on Economics she is uniquely talented in finding opportunities for Economic Development to achieve vitality in business and the communities that they serve.

  • Mustafe Ali

    Prior to joining the Chamber, Mustafe served as a Fundraising Manager, where he cultivated relationships with prospective donors and developed in-depth knowledge of programs and services.  

    Mustafe brings extensive experience in networking, outreach, and non-profit support. He is excited to engage with Chamber members to build long-tern relationships with the Seattle Southside community. Mustafe is passionate about supporting small businesses and providing technical assistance to support growth and continued success.

    Max Gitelman 
    Programs and Operations Coordinator

    Max Gitelman has worked with the Chamber since March 2022, hired as an Executive Assistant before departing later that year. In 2023 they returned to the chamber first as a contract Program Coordinator for the Workforce Discovery lab and then as the Chamber's Programs and Operations Coordinator! 

    Max graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Business and Sustainability in 2021 and is passionate about sustainability of all kinds and how it intersects with business and economics. They are especially passionate about sustainable economic development, clean energy, and just transition. Max also holds a CAPM from the Project Management Institute and volunteers with the Puget Sound Chapter of the organization as a Member Liaison.

  • Joe Scorcio

    Joe has been providing executive management assistance to the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce since his 2019 retirement after 42 years in local government management. He most recently served as the City Manager and Community and Economic Development Director for 6 years with the City of SeaTac. He served in a wide range of senior management positions during his nearly 30 years with Pierce County.

    Joe has been actively involved with Chambers of Commerce throughout his decades of public service, including 17 years as a Board member with the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber. In addition, Joe has served in leadership positions on numerous non-profit boards and brings extensive perspective on organizational management, board governance and policy issues.  Joe always strives to use his own experiences, both good and bad, to be able to contribute to critical conversations with the Chamber staff and Board of Directors.
