RENTON, WA – Abyssinia Beauty School, a non-profit institution, is reaching out to the King County business community to help sustain the high standards of its #Classof2027 training program. While the Abyssinia Beauty Clinic already utilizes premium, high-quality hair products for its professional clientele, the school is seeking community support to provide those same elite resources for student-led services.
Currently, students performing services to earn their required 1,600 floor hours face the challenge of rising supply costs. The school's mission is to ensure that students do not have to train with inferior products, as Abyssinia believes in nothing less than the best for every person who sits in a stylist's chair.
To make this possible, the school is inviting local businesses and community members to donate professional-grade products directly from the clinic’s shelves. By sponsoring the cost of these premium products, donors empower students to master complex techniques using the exact tools they will use as future business owners.
Donation Needs Include:

• Professional Hair Care: Premium shampoos, conditioners, and styling treatments used in the clinic.
• Clinic Operations: Cleaning supplies, paper towels, laundry detergent for linens, and sanitation tools.
• Student Resources: General office supplies to support academic and client tracking.

“We already have the best products on our shelves for our paying clinic customers,” says Director Miny Tafesse. “We want our students to have that same excellence as they rack up their hours, but we need the community's help to make those professional resources affordable for our student platform.”

These students already demonstrate excellent dedication and passion for their craft. Traveling quite a distance every day to school, they have maintained satisfactory academic progress in their theory hours. This shows their dedication to becoming successful licensed professionals in 2027. We welcome everyone to encourage their efforts.
