Join us for this special community tradition that draws 3,000 people from Normandy Park, Burien, Des Moines, and more! Winterfest is promoted through Highline Schools, Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce, Normandy Park’s City Scene Magazine, B-Town Blog, local TV News, and more!

Winterfest features the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Santa’s arrival in a 12+ vehicle motorcade! But wait! There’s more! There’s school choirs and bands, vendor booths, free toys, free candy canes, free arts & crafts for kids, a free ornament exchange, beverages, food, local celebrities, and SNOW!

Who organizes Winterfest? The Friends of Normandy Park Foundation (FONP), a 501c3 nonprofit, since April 2013, with festive residents, businesses, and non-profits! Through fundraising, education, and event planning, FONP serves as a facilitator to build community spirit; enhance our civic, non-profit, and business climate; help the environment; and attract people to Normandy Park!
