    As part of our Disaster Moving & Storage division you join a team of Certified Restoration Technicians in an industry that is recession proof and never shuts down.
    What you will do:

    • Manage workflow for a team of 1 – 5 employees including, but not limited to, mentoring assistants, managing assignments, performance reviews, scheduling, etc.
    • Monitor performance of duties in accordance with the Company's safety rules and regulations
    • Packing household contents and moving them to our secure warehouse or storage on-site during the Water Restoration and Mitigation process or other construction
    • Maintenance and Cleaning of storage warehouse
    • Use of associated tools of the trade, including but not limited to, hand truck, lifting straps, air compressor, tape gun, drill, hammer, forklift, etc.  Forklift Certification is not required at time of hiring.
    • Independent & Team based working environment with limited supervision
    • Customer Service and Professionalism is always our #1 focus and Communication is the key, maintain communication with home or business owner as a point of contact for work being performed by your team
    • Driving a 14’ box truck and/or towing small cargo trailers
    • Digital inventory list of all items & their conditional during the packing & storage process
    • Minor carpentry as needed
    • Minor mechanical repair work for equipment as needed
    • As a 24hr Emergency Response team leader, overnight and weekend work may be required based on the job location and type of disaster response
    • Maintenance of The Flood Guy emergency housing trailers for customers
    • 2 years professional Moving Company experience
    • Pre-Employment Drug Screening
    • Ability to repetitively lift 50lbs or more
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Detail oriented
    • Basic Data Entry
    • Valid Washington State Driver’s License
    • Clean Driving Record - 3-year Driver’s Abstract due at time of application
    • Criminal Background Check
    • Available for on-call shifts, in addition to standard 40-hour work week
    • Ability to work in environments that may contain mold, dust, and/or smoke
    • Ability to work in confined spaces
    • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
    • Ability to work away from home on multi-day projects as needed
    Compensation:  $22-26/hr with performance increases annually
    Full Time: 40-hr work week
