Upper Duwamish River Boat Cleanup

We are organizing one big, final boat cleanup for the Upper Duwamish River for 2026 this July. This is part of Puget Soundkeeper’s Summer Cleanup Series. We plan to provide 10 double kayaks (for 20 participants) but will also welcome up to 10 folks who can bring their own boat to the river (a kayak, canoe, or raft works best). Puget Soundkeeper will provide boats (for 20 people), cleanup supplies, water, snacks, and will help folks get back to their cars at the end of the cleanup. Youth must be 15 years or older and accompanied by a parent or guardian. We will need an additional 10-12 people who can help out at at a land-based cleanup at the Codiga Park basecamp (at the take-out locations).
